Position Overview

The **Cost Schedule Analyst** plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects and timelines of contracts that necessitate a validated cost schedule control system. This position involves conducting detailed analyses and generating comprehensive reports to ensure compliance with negotiated and governmental cost control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the formulation of budgets and timelines for all contractual obligations.
  • Conduct financial analyses, including funding profiles, sales forecasts, and variance assessments.
  • Maintain precise records of expenditures to guarantee sufficient funding availability.
  • Direct the preparation of expenditure forecasts and submit timely requests for additional funding.
  • Incorporate contractual modifications into control systems by monitoring ongoing work against each contract to uphold realistic cost and schedule baselines.
  • Provide support in budget development, Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations, and tracking for project teams and management.
  • Contribute to proposal development efforts.
Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Experience in project scheduling and/or project cost management.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles.
  • Previous experience in Cost Account Management (CAM).
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables.
  • Experience in developing proposals compliant with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
Preferred Qualifications

Desirable skills include:

  • Prior experience with CAM.
  • Familiarity with Tableau software.
  • Experience with the Aeronautics Proposal Tool Suite (APTS).
