Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager, Payroll Operations to lead our NOAM regional payroll service delivery team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services to our employees across the US, Canada, and Caribbean countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the NOAM regional payroll service delivery team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
  • Develop and implement a shared service delivery model to ensure our in-house or 3rd party teams deliver accurate and timely payments of all pay to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all current and future payroll laws and regulations for each country within the region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Legal, and Employee Relations teams.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance payroll operations.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of payroll professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the department, ensuring expenses are kept within approved limits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • 8+ years of North America payroll experience, with significant experience in all aspects of payroll processes and related systems.
  • Experience leading NOAM payroll migrations towards a global payroll shared service model.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, provide direction, and lead a team towards goal achievement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to manage change and re-engineer processes.
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to shift priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience.
  • Ceridian Dayforce system experience.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Experience working for a global and diverse company.

This is a 20% travel role.
