Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nursing Unit Secretary to join our team at Friendly Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our nursing staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical records department.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for our residents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating transportation, and preparing reports.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Collaborate with our nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical records software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
