Position Summary:
The Records Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the treatment coordinator. This position involves assisting with various tasks that involve both the treatment coordinator and patients, ensuring a friendly, professional, and positive contribution to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a trusting relationship with patients, delivering exceptional customer service to all individuals.
- Perform X-Ray imaging, capture photographs, and fabricate retainers.
- Collaborate with the Treatment Coordinator and the doctor to maintain accurate patient records and transcribe notes from the doctor effectively.
- Ensure patient rooms are well-stocked, organized, and maintained in a clean and sterile condition, preparing all necessary equipment.
- Be open to feedback and training from doctors and orthodontic assistants to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with orthodontics and the equipment utilized in the field.
- Proactive and adaptable, demonstrating initiative in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively about techniques used in orthodontics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
In compliance with state law and/or city regulations, this employer will provide necessary information to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if required, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to verify work authorization for new employees.
