Your Role
We are looking for a seasoned certified public accountant with a minimum of five years in tax strategy, compliance, and general accounting, catering to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in tax planning and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and estate tax returns. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with individual tax clients to navigate tax planning and compliance projects, particularly in wealth transition.
  • Analyzing clients' tax situations, including their trusts and estates, to maximize tax benefits.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships by delivering proactive solutions.
  • Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including those for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Guiding staff to ensure timely and accurate filings in accordance with firm policies.
  • Developing wealth transition strategies based on financial projections and estate planning.
  • Conducting technical research on tax planning and compliance matters.
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and leading training sessions.
  • Mentoring junior staff and participating in business development initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting; an advanced degree in accounting or taxation is advantageous, along with an active CPA license, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
  • Over five years of public accounting experience, particularly with high-net-worth clients.
  • Expertise in individual income tax, partnership, and estate tax planning.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in business development and networking.

Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation framework emphasizes competitive and fair pay, compliant with local and state regulations. Salary is influenced by factors such as location, experience, education, and skills. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $200,000.
