Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Sales Leadership Trainee, you will be responsible for selling our distinctive range of mattresses and accessories. You will receive hands-on training in sales, marketing, and business development techniques. You will shadow the Store Manager, gaining insights into all facets of retail and personnel management. Additional responsibilities of the Management Trainee position include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers to identify their mattress preferences and requirements.
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Proactively seeking knowledge about new products.
- Setting and achieving personal sales goals.
- Preparing contracts and processing transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Placing orders and managing stock availability.
- Maintaining awareness of current promotions and policies related to payments, exchanges, and store security.
- Participating in merchandising and product displays.
About Denver Mattress:
As part of the Furniture Row family of companies, Denver Mattress originated during the waterbed boom of the 1980s, initially producing soft-sided waterbed inserts. As market demands evolved, we transitioned to manufacturing innerspring mattresses and expanded our offerings to include a full range of conventional adult bedding. Since opening our first store, we have grown to become one of the largest privately held mattress companies in the United States, with numerous locations across the country.
