Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for patients, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients for services, ensuring accurate and complete demographic information is collected and updated in our system.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  • Collect and process patient payments, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and physician offices, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a healthcare registration or patient access role; experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
