Patient Access Representative

At BJC, we're seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience from registration to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize critical thinking skills to problem-solve complex situations and anticipate patients' needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and co-workers in a professional, positive, and patient-focused manner.
- Register and schedule patients, verify insurance, and collect applicable patient payments.
- Ensure accurate patient records and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, including Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP), HIPAA Privacy Standards, and Patient Bill of Rights and Responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or GED
- No experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow with our team
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred
