General Job Overview:

As a Residential Electrical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of our residential electrical services sector. Your leadership will guide a team of electricians, manage project workflows, and ensure the highest standards of workmanship and client satisfaction. This role requires providing technical support, optimizing resource management, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Mentor and supervise a team of residential electricians, offering guidance to foster high levels of performance and efficiency.
  2. Project Oversight: Organize and manage residential electrical projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, resource distribution, and financial oversight.
  3. Quality Control: Guarantee that all electrical installations comply with quality benchmarks, codes, and regulations, conducting necessary inspections and providing constructive feedback.
  4. Client Relations: Act as the primary liaison for residential clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the project.
  5. Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to electricians, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and ensure the correct installation and functioning of electrical systems.
  6. Safety Management: Uphold safety standards and procedures to create a secure work environment, conducting regular safety briefings and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Resource Management: Oversee the inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that necessary supplies are available for projects while maintaining accurate usage records.
  8. Training Initiatives: Identify skill gaps within the team and facilitate training programs to enhance knowledge and capabilities in residential electrical services.
  9. Process Enhancement: Recognize opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in residential electrical services.
  10. Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive records of project documentation, including work orders and invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Minimum Experience Required:

2-4 years in a supervisory capacity within the residential electrical field.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a residential electrician, with 2-4 years in a leadership role.
  • Valid electrician license and certification as required.
  • In-depth knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Commitment to safety and quality practices.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
