Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including chemistry analyzers and microscopes
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field preferred
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
