Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Laboratory Testing: Collect, process, and perform laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol, including chemistry, specimen processing, micro setups, and urinalysis.
  • Utilize Advanced Technology: Utilize EPIC Beaker, Abbott Alinity automation line with middleware instrument manager, Iris/Clinitec, Cepheid Infinity, and Bio fire Torch to perform laboratory testing.
  • Phlebotomy and Other Duties: May perform phlebotomy from time to time and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Associates degree as Medical Laboratory Technician.
  • Certification: ASCP certified.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience working as a MLS/MLT in a hospital in a generalist capacity. 3+ years highly preferred.
