Spacecraft Launch Specialist

SAIC is actively looking for a Spacecraft Launch Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This position necessitates an active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance.
The Spacecraft Launch Specialist will play a crucial role in facilitating launch strategies and execution for satellite initiatives. The primary duties include:
- Providing expert guidance to clients regarding satellite launch prerequisites and oversight
- Formulating integration and operational requirements for launches
- Cooperating with NRO/OSL and contractor LSIC on launch strategies
- Preparing the SPO launch team for the Day Of Launch
- Overseeing launch operations and communicating updates to client leadership
- Detecting and addressing challenges associated with launches
Required Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Competence in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with DOD/IC satellite systems and frameworks
- Excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to travel within the country
