Job Summary:

The Patient Access Representative is a critical role in our organization, serving as the first point of contact for patients and families. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient registration, scheduling, and benefit verification
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient data and records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and federal and state regulations
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of clerical experience and customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
  • High School diploma required; some college helpful
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and perform daily assignments with accuracy
