Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in Neurosurgery operations and systems to provide seamless patient care coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, faculty, and staff to address patient needs and concerns
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery process
- Stay current on inpatient care protocols and attend grand rounds sessions to ensure optimal patient care
- Collaborate with the Neurosurgery team to ensure patients have full, equitable, and convenient access to clinical services and health education information
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Patient Rights & Responsibilities, Joint Commission standards, and Centers for Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
