Welcome to Loudoun County Government, where we strive to make a positive impact on our community. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Grants Coordinator.

About the Job

The Grants Coordinator will be responsible for researching and identifying grant opportunities, writing and reviewing grant proposals, and managing grant budgets and expenditures. This position will also involve coordinating with departments to ensure compliance with grant regulations and developing policies and procedures related to grant administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and advise departments on grant funding opportunities
  • Monitor and assist with grant administration, including budget preparation and financial reporting
  • Coordinate training on grant administration and best practices
  • Develop and update grant-related policies and procedures
  • Administer the County's nonprofit grant program
  • Analyze grant accounts and create reports on grant activity

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate is preferred.
