Supervisors: Director of Visual Arts
Position Summary: The Program Manager will oversee the Visual Arts initiatives, focusing on curriculum development, program outcomes, and community impact.
Our organization currently operates a comprehensive afterschool photography program designed to engage youth and enhance their skills in visual storytelling. We are also excited to launch a new initiative aimed at maintaining engagement with program graduates, ensuring continued growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance the existing photography program.
- Recruit, train, and supervise instructors and volunteers.
- Facilitate communication with families and stakeholders.
- Organize logistics for exhibitions, transportation, and program events.
- Develop and implement program schedules and curricula.
- Monitor budgets and financial reporting.
- Contribute to annual publications and program evaluations.
- Innovate new programming for various age groups, including K-12 and adult learners.
- Perform daily administrative tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing non-profit programs.
- Proven supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience working effectively with youth and diverse populations.
- Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships within a creative community.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and a commitment to quality in all endeavors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Human Services, or a related field.
- Interest and knowledge in photography and visual arts.
- Experience in developing impactful programs for youth and adults in the arts.
Hours: Full-time
Pay Range: Competitive, based on experience
