Position Title: Lead AV Production Manager for WMCA

Objective:


We are in search of a Lead Audio/Visual Production Manager who possesses a strong commitment to community engagement, a fervor for mission-driven initiatives, and demonstrated expertise in leadership and operational management.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing live and recorded audio production during weekly services and various events.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all facilities and departments can effectively and strategically utilize audio/visual technology to enhance the experience of attendees.


Key Responsibilities:


Support the vision, mission, and objectives of WMCA by overseeing and coordinating all elements of live technical production, including audio, video, lighting, staging, recordings, power, and rigging.

Engineer sound for all weekend services and special events.

Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor volunteers to proficiently operate all aspects of Production Teams for services and special events.

Oversee all elements of Stage Production for both in-person and online events.

Act as a liaison between the Worship Ministry and other departments.

Exceptional leadership skills, including strong interpersonal and communication abilities to connect with a diverse audience.

A passionate developer of individuals and processes.

A strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset, capable of focusing on details while maintaining a broader perspective.

A willingness to network with other organizations and industry professionals to identify best practices.

Excellent planning skills with the ability to assess bandwidth and prioritize effectively to manage time, energy, and resources responsibly.

Organized with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Strong listening skills and the ability to articulate effectively to ensure clear communication of intended messages.

Good conflict resolution abilities and outstanding customer service skills.

Proficient in software applications such as Planning Center, Google Workspace, ProPresenter, and Logic.


Prerequisites:

Must profess a commitment to core values and mission alignment.

Ability to serve as a role model in accordance with organizational values.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with audio systems and large-format consoles.

Expertise in the application of media within the context of worship services.

Capacity to quickly learn and master new technologies.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AV Arts Technical role within a church or business environment.


Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Worship.


Compensation:

Full-time position with a salary and benefits package, including healthcare, dental, retirement, and disability.


Commitment:

A minimum commitment of 2 years is expected.
