Insight Global is looking for two project-based Asset Specialists to support a local government agency in an asset tagging initiative. In this role, the Asset Specialist will be responsible for traveling between various locations within a designated area, ensuring the precise and efficient tagging and tracking of the organization's computer assets. This includes cataloging, labeling, and maintaining comprehensive records of all IT equipment within the agency.
To excel in this position, the Asset Manager must possess a keen attention to detail, a foundational understanding of computer hardware, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately log and label all IT assets, including servers, computers, mobile devices, printers, and more.
2. Upload and manage asset information in the organization's asset management database.
3. Conduct regular inventory assessments.
4. Assist in the development of asset management protocols.
5. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in IT.
2. Previous experience with computer hardware is essential.
