Position: Speech Language Pathologist

Work Environment: Remote

Compensation: $40-45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, identify, and address communication challenges and speech-language disorders in school-aged children; conduct evaluations to differentiate between communication variations and speech disorders.
  • Screen and assess students to create tailored Individualized Service Plans (ISP) for those in private educational settings within District limits.
  • Support students in achieving the performance benchmarks set by the School District and State by clarifying their roles and ensuring the availability of necessary services.
  • Formulate Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and objectives for students; compile data for Medicaid Coordinator for billing purposes.
  • Engage in consultations regarding transitions from early intervention programs.
  • Provide assistance to educators by supplying resources, support, and intervention strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary evaluation teams (MET), and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Collaborate with educational aides, general education instructors, and social workers as required.
  • Engage in professional development to uphold necessary certifications and remain informed about industry trends and advancements.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
