Position Overview:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in delivering speech and language services to students in a school environment. This position requires a dedicated professional to assess and implement effective therapy strategies for communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' communication abilities, including oral-motor skills, cognitive function, and speech fluency.
2. Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
3. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques and utilize specialized equipment as necessary.
4. Educate students, families, and staff on the roles and importance of speech therapy in the learning process.
5. Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
6. Identify additional support services required for students and facilitate appropriate referrals.
7. Maintain compliance with professional standards and stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using technology for documentation and therapy purposes.
