As a Patient Care Coordinator Associate, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service in a clinical or front office setting. Your expertise will be essential in providing a seamless experience for patients, from greeting and checking in to processing paperwork and performing other front office duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to complete the registration process, collecting demographic and health information, and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Utilize computer systems to enter, access, or verify patient data in real-time, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
  • Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and create price estimates, reverifications as needed
  • Collect data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of specific registration requirements for all areas, including Main Admitting and ED Registration

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a hospital, office setting, customer service, or phone support role
  • Ability to work Sunday to Wednesday, 9:00 to 17:30
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department, Physician office, or any medical setting
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
  • Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics for financial payments
  • Experience in requesting and processing financial payments
