Job Summary

The Referral Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient referrals. This position requires excellent organizational and customer service skills to manage multiple requests and appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate referral requests and communicate appointment details to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Obtain preauthorizations and verify patient information to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage referrals, appointments, and patient data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve referral-related issues and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
