The Patient Coordinator is a vital part of our practice, responsible for ensuring that patients have a smooth and positive experience from the moment they contact our office to the completion of their appointment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering and managing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, and updating patient records including insurance information.
  • Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure the schedule is optimized for the dentist and hygienist.
  • Reinforcing the financial policies of the office and ensuring that payments are collected and recorded accurately.
  • Checking in patients using dental software and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Processing payments and transactions during patient check-out.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic records for patients.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with dental software preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy dental office environment.
  • Previous experience in dentistry or healthcare is a plus.
