Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team at Toole Design. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for generating monthly invoicing and assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger. You will work closely with our Project Accountants to set up projects in our ERP system, track new projects, and update project files. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure timely and accurate billing of our professional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly invoicing and assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the general ledger
  • Work closely with Project Accountants to set up projects in our ERP system, track new projects, and update project files
  • Assemble invoices and perform general accounting tasks with attention to every detail
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing of our professional services

Requirements:

  • An associate's degree in accounting is preferred but additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • At least 2 years of hands-on administrative or data-entry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and experience with accounting software
  • Knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail

Work Schedule:

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. The Seattle office of Toole Design is conveniently located in the heart of Seattle's Business District, blocks from the Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Central Public Library, and Waterfront. The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit or ferry.

Salary Range:

We are targeting a salary range of $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 for this position.
