We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Aid Representative to join our team at Blue Cliff College. Key Responsibilities- Financial Aid Counseling: Provide expert guidance to students on financial aid opportunities, application processes, and financial management strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to all relevant laws and guidelines.
- Financial Aid Processing: Determine eligibility and award financial aid applicants, utilizing various software packages and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of student financial assistance.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and prepare status and project reports for the financial aid and veterans' affairs program, analyzing data and identifying trends to inform decision-making.
- Student Support: Respond to student inquiries, providing clear and concise information on financial aid policies and procedures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with admissions, business office, and corporate office to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial aid processes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred.
- Experience: One to three years of increasingly responsible professional-level administrative experience in a financial aid setting.
- Skills: Broad skills in financial aid methodology, financial aid software, and federal regulations governing student financial aid programs, as well as planning and organizational skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive Salary: $40,000-$50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
