Job Title: Financial Representative

Job Summary:

The Financial Representative is a key role at Western & Southern Life, responsible for meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients. This involves educating clients, analyzing their needs, and recommending tailored solutions in an ethical and client-focused manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Development: Identify target markets and develop effective marketing strategies to reach middle-market clients.
  • Client Acquisition: Prospect and network for new clients, identifying qualified leads and making initial contacts.
  • Sales and Service: Contact and secure appointments with prospective and existing clients to provide financial solutions.
  • Preparation and Consultation: Prepare thoroughly for appointments using established processes and consultative practices.
  • Solution Selling: Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to clients.
  • Time Management: Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for the week and foreseeable future.
  • Brand Development: Market Western & Southern Life's brand at the local level to develop a strong presence.
  • Community Engagement: Develop relationships with local communities to cultivate and strengthen the company's presence.
  • Client Maintenance: Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are met.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.

Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet, and email.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Obtain and hold State Life and Health license prior to hire, and FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
  • Position Demands: Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
