Job Title: Financial Representative

At Western & Southern Life, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Representative to join our team. As a Financial Representative, you will play a critical role in meeting the financial needs of our middle-income clients by providing risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans to identify and acquire new clients.
  • Network and prospect for middle-market clients through identification of qualified leads and initial contacts.
  • Secure appointments with prospective and existing clients to sell, conserve, and service insurance and investment solutions.
  • Prepare for appointments through established processes and conduct meetings using Western & Southern Life's consultative practices and processes.
  • Effectively sell insurance and investment solutions to meet clients' evolving financial needs.
  • Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for the week and foreseeable future.
  • Market the Western & Southern Life brand at the local level and develop community relationships to cultivate and strengthen presence in target markets.
  • Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure their financial needs are being met.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, and other relevant information.

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship, and influence skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Ability to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions.
  • The ability to influence others to take needed action.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and resilience to achieve goals.
  • Willing and able to network for new clients.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of internet and email.
  • Obtain and hold State Life and Health license prior to hire.
  • Obtain and hold the FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.
Position Demands:
  • Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
