Maletis Beverage is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join its team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely payroll processing for union and non-union employees in WA and OR. Your expertise in payroll management and HRIS systems will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations while supporting the company's mission to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide leadership and training to the Payroll Administrator.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system, Paycom, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes and implement best practices.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, ensuring timely submission.
  • Address and resolve HRIS & payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies professionally and promptly.
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
  • Assist with audits as needed.
  • Provide training and support to employees and leadership on payroll-related matters and HRIS system usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience processing payroll.
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in WA and OR.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and payroll software (Paycom experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel knowledge.
  • Able to work full-time, within an office environment,
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
