Job Summary

Keller Brothers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent in coordinating and scheduling trade contractors, material deliveries, and project progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist the Superintendent in coordinating and scheduling trade contractors, material deliveries, and project progress.
  • Site Management: Assist the Superintendent with site management coverage, including opening and closing the project site, weekend job site coverage, and other times the Superintendent is unavailable.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Assist the Superintendent with implementing and enforcing safety and quality control policies and procedures.
  • Business Development: Aid in business development and client relations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized project site.
  • Communication: Be prepared to answer questions concerning the project and your role as the Assistant Superintendent with confidence.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete activities assigned in a timely manner and within the guidelines and deadlines set.
  • Personal Appearance: Maintain standards of personal appearance fitting for the role of Assistant Superintendent.
Project Specific Responsibilities
  • Project Schedule: Assist the Superintendent in updating and maintaining the project schedule.
  • Meetings and Inspections: Participate in trade contractor pre-construction and preparatory meetings, bi-weekly owner progress meetings, weekly trade contractor coordination meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Documentation: Assist the Superintendent with preparing and maintaining material and equipment delivery tracking logs, daily reports, weather day logs, project photography, and records.
  • Safety: Ensure the project and its workers are in compliance with safety and jurisdictional policies, and take necessary action to correct unsafe conditions.
