Position Overview:
This role involves coordinating the activities of subcontractors on various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Site Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing and directing the tasks of all trades at the construction site.
  • Addressing and clarifying design challenges.
  • Assisting in the development of project budgets and timelines.
  • Identifying and resolving issues that arise on-site, including change orders.
  • Establishing expectations for maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Monitoring the progress of each trade's work in relation to project phases.
  • Ensuring that all work meets quality standards and adheres to contract specifications.
  • Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Documenting each stage of the project comprehensively.

Essential Qualifications:
Candidates for the Construction Site Engineer position should possess:
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or an Associate of Arts degree in Construction Management.
  • A solid understanding of engineering principles.
  • Basic knowledge of business principles sufficient for monitoring and projecting expenses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • The ability to read and comprehend technical specifications, blueprints, manuals, and engineering/architectural drawings.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in construction projects, including mechanical and electrical systems, building materials, and working with craft personnel.
