The C.W. Williams Community Health Center, Inc is seeking a strategic and organized Grants Writer to enhance funding models, identify new sources of funding, and develop effective grants programs.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and assist with grant application process and reporting requirements.
  • Determine and create plans to streamline grants administration process.
  • Conduct research, seek funding opportunities, and assess outcomes.
  • Participate in grant writing by working with project coordinators and/or grant writers.
  • Investigate reputable funding opportunities and share with supervisor.
  • Evaluate grants for operational and financial alignment.
  • Inform staff of approaching due dates and deliverables.
  • Monitor grant-related personnel performance.
  • Manage invoicing, accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, budget plans, and allocation reports.
  • Analyze budget patterns to suggest cost reduction and control measures.
  • Report development progress to supervisor.
  • Maintain documentation and supporting materials for grant-funded projects.
  • Track receipts and payments for grant-related activity.
  • Train grant-funded employees on proper allocations.
  • Track deliverables of grant-funded projects and report progress.
  • Maintain grants database and generate reports as requested.

Requirements:

  • BS in Business Administration or related field.
  • Outstanding project management and supervisory skills.
  • Methodical and strategic thinking.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Budgeting and accounting experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Auditing policies knowledge.
  • Donor agencies knowledge.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • 3-5 years of grants management experience preferred.
