Job Title: Field Claims Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Claims Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc.

About the Role:

The Field Claims Representative will be responsible for investigating and evaluating multi-line insurance claims in the Annapolis, Maryland territory. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations and interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to ensure accurate settlements
  • Inspect property and auto damages and write repair estimates
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service
Requirements:
  • Be available and communicative during regular business hours
  • Have a desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Be prepared to follow-up with others in a timely manner
  • Have a valid driver's license
