About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Claims Representative to join our team at USAA. As a key member of our contact service center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional claims service to our members regarding auto and property First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims.

Your primary focus will be on documenting FNOL, setting up appropriate services, and proactively moving claims forward to ensure successful resolution and accurate documentation. You will also be responsible for assisting with questions regarding the claims process, resolving status inquiries, and routing to handling adjusters as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment. You will also need to be able to prioritize and multitask, navigating multiple business applications while maintaining an engaging member interaction.

What We Offer

As a Customer Service Claims Representative at USAA, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $43,750 to $45,750, based on your experience and market data. You will also be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k), pension, life insurance, and paid time off.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with members
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, navigating multiple business applications
  • Successful completion of a job-related assessment
  • May require acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days
