About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team for a locum tenens assignment in a mid-size medical center. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Physician Assistant will work in an outpatient oncology clinic, providing medical care to adult patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting and be certified as a PA-C. The role involves working with EPIC EMR and offers a flexible schedule of either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to adult patients in an outpatient oncology clinic
  • Work collaboratively with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Use EPIC EMR to document patient information and manage medical records
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with oncologists
  • Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting
  • Certification as a PA-C
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
