About the Role

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is an integral part of our healthcare team at Capital Medical Center. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will engage with patient customers while working closely with your clinical team to provide excellent customer service and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients
  • Work under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner as an integral part of the team
  • Utilize your knowledge towards the integration of available standards, resources, and data
  • Assist with front office duties as needed, applying your discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy towards excellent office and patient care management

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred
