Position Overview:
The Senior Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the entire admissions journey, from initial outreach to enrollment. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this position is pivotal in ensuring that candidates receive personalized support throughout the admissions lifecycle. We focus on understanding each candidate's unique aspirations and career objectives to facilitate their enrollment in our diverse academic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, providing guidance through the admissions process.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of our programs to assist students effectively and maintain high-quality communication via various channels.
- Engage actively with candidates to assess their fit for our programs, prioritizing quality over quantity in admissions decisions.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards while promoting a culture of integrity.
- Commit to advancing Stautzenberger's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.
- Demonstrate empathy and the ability to connect with prospective students from various backgrounds.
- Collaborate with departments such as Financial Aid and Student Services to provide well-rounded support to candidates.
- Participate in recruitment events and community outreach as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 5 years in sales, recruitment, or a related field with a successful track record.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in utilizing outlines to guide conversations while adapting to individual candidate needs.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in admissions or higher education with a proven record of meeting goals.
- A strong passion for education and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
