Position Overview:

The Senior Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the entire admissions journey, from the initial inquiry to enrollment. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this position is pivotal in fostering relationships with potential students, understanding their aspirations, and ensuring they find the right educational path within our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, providing a comprehensive overview of the admissions process.
  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of our programs to effectively assist students and deliver personalized communication through various channels including video, phone, email, and text.
  • Engage actively with candidates to assess their fit for our programs, prioritizing quality over quantity in enrollment.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory processes.
  • Contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Financial Aid and Student Services to support informed decision-making for prospects.
  • Participate in recruitment events and industry gatherings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, or a related field with a proven success record.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles and strategies to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in admissions or higher education with a strong track record of meeting goals.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
