Job Summary

Hantz Group, a leading financial services company, seeks a highly skilled Senior Tax Strategist to join its team of tax professionals. As a key member of our tax department, you will work closely with financial advisors to develop comprehensive tax strategies that minimize clients' tax liabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and businesses
  • Analyze tax liabilities and prepare tax projections
  • Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to develop financial strategies and reduce clients' tax liability
  • Market and sell tax planning services to clients and prospective clients
  • Attend meetings and continuing education sessions to stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6+ years' experience preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns
  • Active Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Software preferred
