Position Overview:

The Senior Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the entire admissions journey, from initial outreach to enrollment. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this position is pivotal in fostering relationships with candidates, understanding their aspirations, and ensuring they find the right educational path within our degree and diploma offerings. Our approach emphasizes personalized support, as we aim to empower students to excel in their chosen fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, providing guidance throughout the admissions process.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of our programs to assist students effectively, delivering tailored communication via various channels including video, phone, email, and text.
  • Engage actively with candidates to assess their fit for our programs, focusing on quality over quantity in enrollment.
  • Uphold our commitment to compliance by adhering to all regulatory and procedural guidelines.
  • Contribute to our initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the admissions process.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with prospective students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Financial Aid, Student Services, and Career Services to facilitate informed decision-making for prospects.
  • Participate in recruitment events, open houses, and industry gatherings as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, or a related field with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles and utilize outlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in admissions or higher education with a strong record of meeting individual and institutional goals.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
