About the Event Planning Manager Position:

We are seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team. As an Event Planning Manager, you will be responsible for planning, up-selling, and detailing programs with clients. This includes verifying and modifying space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes, decorations, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events, including weddings, conferences, and banquets.
  • Communicate with clients and hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Forecast banquet food and beverage revenues.
  • Monitor and control individual event budgets and details to maximize revenues and minimize expenses.
  • Represent the hotel and department at client and industry functions, tours, and meetings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Review and post-conference reporting with meeting planners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and generate positive event satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of related work experience.
  • Prior Event Planning experience in the Wedding market is a plus.
  • Experience detailing events through Event Orders.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
