JOB SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a dedicated Project Operations Coordinator to join our team at Great Floors Group. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our flooring services for builders, developers, project managers, and renovation contractors. Responsibilities include establishing client relationships, conducting site assessments, facilitating product demonstrations, preparing proposals, managing projects, and following up on accounts receivable as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are essential to the role, with the possibility of additional tasks being assigned:

  • Develop and maintain work schedules to ensure optimal sales and profitability within the flooring sector.
  • Engage in regular communication with the Branch Manager, Installation Supervisor, and installation teams while adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure a clean and professional environment within the office and for all team members.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction through effective administration and follow-up.
  • Actively participate in timely material ordering, billing processes, job completion, and collection of accounts receivable when necessary.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and industry training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Foster strong customer relations and promote a positive company image.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving company procedures to the Branch Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may involve supervisory duties in line with company policies, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management of employees.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
  • Associate's Degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in accurate measuring and estimating.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including percentages and calculations.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate activities with team members and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow up on tasks.
  • Familiarity with flooring products and the construction industry.
  • Experience in resolving service issues and claims.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct in all business dealings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical requirements for this position include the ability to:

  • Remain seated at a computer for extended periods.
  • Stand for long durations and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Engage in various movements including reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment typically involves:

  • General office conditions.
  • Meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
