We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at ACCO Engineered Systems. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects, ensuring effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and project team members.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and scheduling of assigned engineering work, monitor work for compliance to applicable codes and standards, and ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for the construction effort, including participating in the planning and design, interpretation of the design, value engineering, and alternate solution reviews.
- Project Administration: Oversee and/or process daily administrative items, including document control, RFIs, dailies, POs, MOPs, submittals, and procurement logs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and on budget, plan work, track labor, track material and deliveries, and project cost at completion.
- Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and solve problems in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, proficiency in interpersonal relationship building skills and positive customer service interactions, excellent oral and written business communication skills.
- Proactivity/Initiative: Recognize and anticipate what needs to be done and accomplish it in a manner appropriate for one's level/position and with minimal supervision.
- Perseverance: Show the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.
