Position Summary:

The Quality Manager role demands a proactive approach, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to surpassing customer expectations. This position will provide comprehensive quality leadership in collaboration with the manufacturing and senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and uphold a mature ISO quality management system.
  • Engage with customers and suppliers to provide necessary support.
  • Plan and direct quality assurance initiatives and activities.
  • Maintain performance reports to keep management informed of current quality metrics.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for quality improvements.
  • Establish and maintain quality objectives aligned with production goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage quality resources, including measurement, process enhancements, employee training, and manufacturing process capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in ISO and Quality Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing (Sheet Metal experience is advantageous).
  • Experience in weld inspection and AWS certification is required.
  • A four-year degree is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Ability to translate technical and customer-related issues into operational requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of testing, inspection, and quality-related challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and reporting.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments for effective problem resolution.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
