Job Summary

This role will lead the development of a Quality Management System, ISO-9001 certification, and manage the Document Control function which includes product lifecycle, change control, sourcing control, system integration and Arena/PLM system administration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Management System Development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a quality management system, quality standards and policies to meet ISO-9001 regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership to prepare Sakuu for ISO 9001 certification audit.
Program Life Cycle Management
  • Implement and manage the Program Life Cycle (PLC) Phase Gate Process for productization of Battery cells and Kavian Equipment.
Document Control and Training
  • Partner with cross-functional managers and staff to provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
  • Own and manage the Document Control function including lifecycle management and ensure that all change requests, documents, bill of materials and sourcing is controlled, validated, and adheres to procedures and standards.
  • Develop and facilitate Quality Management System and Document Control training to Sakuu employees.
Quality Management System and Document Control
  • Own and manage all Document Control and Quality Management System standard operating procedures and policies.
Requirements
  1. Quality or Regulatory Experience
  • 5+ years of Quality or Regulatory Experience
Document Control and PLM Experience
  • 5 years' experience with Document Control including PLM system administration
ISO Requirements and Auditor Experience
  • Familiarity and exposure to ISO requirements
  • ISO Auditor experience is a plus
Manufacturing Environment and ERP/PLM Experience
  • Manufacturing environment including ERP, PLM (Arena or Agile) experience
Collaboration and Communication Skills
  • Highly organized collaborator

Location and Compensation

Sakuú's culture is best experienced in person, and selected candidates will be expected to work onsite in our South San Jose location. Remote work schedules are not available.

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $115,000 to $140,000. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, discretionary target cash bonus, Sakuú offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
