Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment, machinery, or systems.

You will work independently to complete installation and full servicing of systems and equipment, including reviewing work orders for project specifications, testing, diagnosing, and servicing various types of equipment, machinery, or systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment, machinery, or systems, including cable systems, intrusion/fire alarm systems, and network devices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and test voice/data cable, NVRs, IP cameras, and network devices.
  • Communication: Communicate with on-site customer contact in a professional manner.
  • Documentation: Complete required paperwork, including installation checklists, timesheets, service orders, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Travel: Travel to job sites, potentially including overnights, and be willing to drive or commute to job sites.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in wire alarm, cabling, lift, and conduit experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read blueprints, maintain cable systems, perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs, and troubleshoot and test voice/data cable.
  • Education: High school or equivalent (preferred).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, climb 12 ft ladders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
