Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Specialist for a dynamic role.

We are in search of a knowledgeable Fire Alarm Service Specialist with over 3 years of hands-on experience, who has acquired extensive expertise through relevant positions in the Services Department. The Field Service Technician role emphasizes the installation, configuration, calibration, and repair of technical products and systems at client locations, which includes:
  • Conducting various maintenance and technical support tasks on installed products and systems
  • Executing installation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system malfunctions
  • Assessing when products require upgrades or replacements
  • Delivering electrical services with a focus on repairing and/or replacing fire and security alarm systems and associated equipment
  • Maintaining essential servicing tools and materials
  • Responding to urgent service requests
  • Potentially providing onsite training for customer support teams
  • Conducting assessments of fire alarm devices
This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures and tools gained through extensive experience, and may require vocational or technical education. The following competencies may be required:

Works under limited supervision in routine scenarios.
  • Offers assistance and training to junior employees.
  • Problems are typically non-routine and require analytical skills to resolve.
  • Implements installation, maintenance, and repair on the customer’s installed systems, within a defined area of expertise
Requirements:
  • NICET certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with NFPA standards is advantageous
  • Experience in commercial settings
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities
Additional Qualifications:
  • EST 3 Safety certification
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems
