Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Specialist for a dynamic role.

We are in search of a knowledgeable Fire Alarm Service Specialist with over three years of experience, who has acquired extensive expertise through relevant roles in the Services Department. The Field Service Technician's responsibilities include the installation, configuration, calibration, and repair of technical products and systems at various customer locations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting maintenance and providing technical support for installed products and systems
  • Installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system malfunctions
  • Assessing the need for product upgrades or replacements
  • Delivering electrical services focused on the repair and replacement of fire and security alarm systems and associated equipment
  • Maintaining essential servicing tools and materials
  • Responding to urgent service requests
  • Potentially providing on-site training for customer support staff
  • Conducting assessments of fire alarm devices
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of operational procedures and tools, typically gained through extensive work experience, and may necessitate vocational or technical education. The following competencies may be required:

The position operates under limited supervision for routine tasks.
  • Assists and trains junior employees
  • Addresses complex problems that require analytical skills
  • Executes installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on customer systems within a specific area of expertise
Qualifications:
  • NICET certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with NFPA standards is advantageous
  • Experience in commercial settings
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Additional skills that are beneficial:
  • EST 3 Safety
  • CCTV knowledge
