Position Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will support the Retail Manager at a commercial tire facility. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the daily movement, issuance, receipt, delivery, and management of products within a bustling tire center. Key tasks include prioritizing and selecting materials to fulfill orders, loading and unloading products onto delivery vehicles, and managing the physical inventory within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and categorize warehouse inventory by product type and physical arrangement, ensuring adequate space for overflow.
  • Physically load and unload delivery vehicles, handling products weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products from the warehouse to designated locations.
  • Act as a backup delivery driver when necessary, transporting items between the warehouse and various sites.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing products in terms of quantity, size, and type, and report any inventory discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation for delivery orders and ensure compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions and uphold safe driving practices.
  • Keep accurate records for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver logs and fuel purchase records.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and transportation regulations.
  • Safely operate powered industrial vehicles (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain any required operator licenses.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks within the facility, including keeping the loading dock and surrounding areas tidy.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including paperwork preparation and handling.
  • Commit to following all OSHA safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • CDL License is advantageous.
Work Environment:
  • Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday and evening shifts as needed.
  • Work may be conducted in various indoor and outdoor environments, exposing employees to varying temperatures.
  • Physical demands include standing, bending, climbing, lifting, and walking regularly.
  • Handling hazardous materials and wearing protective equipment is required.
  • Regular lifting of 50-75 lbs. is expected, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
