ROLE SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting in the coordination and leadership of daily warehouse functions.
Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, this role involves directing work assignments in alignment with company policies, expectations, and financial objectives.
The supervisor will allocate tasks to associates to ensure a seamless workflow for fulfilling customer orders, while providing leadership and guidance to Warehouse Associates.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and manages Fulfillment Center operations, including picking, packing, shipping, kit assembly, labeling, order documentation, and mail sorting.
Assigns daily work tasks to employees and collaborates with the Operations Manager on labor planning.
Demonstrates strong organizational and time management abilities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Acts as a Safety Advocate for the Fulfillment Center, promoting safety protocols and holding the team accountable for adhering to safe practices.
Ensures the effective and safe operation of all production equipment and machinery, and assists in conducting regular Safety Observations and Process Evaluations on team members.
When necessary, provides hands-on support in production activities.Drives adherence to quality and productivity targets in support of warehouse key performance indicators.
Proposes and discusses innovative ideas for enhancing processes, team morale, safety, and order accuracy with the Operations Manager.
Communicates issues, concerns, and suggestions to management and aids in developing solutions.Trains new and existing employees on operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Training Checklists, Risk Assessments, and Work Instructions.
Maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment, which includes organizing waste disposal, maintaining workstations, and ensuring cleanliness of production areas.
Additional responsibilities or relevant projects may be assigned by the Operations Manager.REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED is required.
Experience in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer skills, including generating and interpreting daily reports.
Good visual acuity for inspecting products and orders.Strong time management, organizational, planning, and self-motivation skills.
Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) or a willingness to learn.
Excellent coaching and interpersonal skills.
POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time non-exempt position.
SCHEDULE:
Sunday through Wednesday - 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
SALARY:
$20/hr.
