About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various administrative tasks within the warehouse environment, including:

  • Maintaining organized filing systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Engaging with customers and vendors to address inquiries about shipment schedules, product availability, and claims for damages
  • Coordinating the processing of export orders and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Managing returns within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Overseeing pallet management, including ordering and reconciling pallet counts
  • Updating metrics for the area or shift as required
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including overtime when necessary

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, particularly in roles involving transportation coordination and inventory management
  • Strong decision-making abilities that reflect the interests of both the customer and Ryder
  • Excellent written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with WMS systems is preferred
  • Experience operating forklift equipment is advantageous
  • Certification for equipment operation may be required
